Global Digital Fundraising Specialist UNICEF

For 60 years,
UNICEF  has been working on the ground in 190 countries and territories to promote children's survival, protection and development. The world's largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS.

UNICEF sees digital communication and marketing as critical to the future success of its private sector fundraising. Over the next 3 years the organization is looking to make a transformational change in its use of internet and mobile platforms for income generation and supporter engagement. The Global Digital Fundraising Specialist will play a critical role in this important step-change to digitize UNICEF's fundraising. They will work within the Global Digital team, based in Geneva, to help support UNICEF National offices and drive UNICEF's digital  fundraising and supporter engagement strategy and ensure that best practices related to digital strategy development, digital marketing and web and mobile based tools are effectively shared across the organization.

The most compelling candidates will have a deep knowledge of the digital space and its applicability to the non-profit sector for fundraising and supporter engagement.
They will have at least 5 years of digital work experience, ideally in fundraising, advertising or marketing. Experience working as a digital fundraising specialist/manager/planner at a charity or an account manager/project manager/advisor at an agency or consultancy would be a distinct advantage. We want candidates with up-to-date experience and knowledge of the latest developments in digital marketing, social media, web and mobile platforms and experience in latest developments in supporter engagement and customer relationship management.
