WINGS (Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support) is a global, independent, not-for-profit network that brings together over 150 associations and support organizations serving philanthropy in 54 countries around the world. The WINGS network:

Responsibilities
The intern will get first-hand experience in program planning and implementation. The list of duties includes, but is not limited to:
• Work with WINGS team to plan, organize and implement programs and events such as peer learning events, webinars, and regional meetings;
• Support the maintenance of WINGS website, Facebook and Twitter accounts;
• Support the knowledge management project through research, data input and analysis;
• Communicate and connect with WINGS network members as needed; and,
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is:
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals;
• Self-starter and problem-solver;
• Interested in and sensitive to working with diverse cultures in an international nonprofit organization with a global scope.
Skills required:
• Fluency in English;
• PC computer literacy and familiarity with databases;
• Knowledge of Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Blogs);
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Excellent communication skills (written, in-person, and by telephone); and,
• 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student from the following programs: international relations, public administration, social sciences or communications/public relations.
Logistics
• Must be able to work 6 hours per day
• Office is located in Itaim-Bibi, São Paulo
• Stipend (bolsa auxílio): R$ 900,00 (novecentos reais) per month
• Starting date: March 2012 (interviewing process in February 2012)
